Mohammed Shiyam’s father today withdrew his statement which he made outside the court yesterday that former DIG Vass Gunawardena had no connection with his son’s murder.
Yesterday, he told media that two others called Krishantha and Fausdeen were responsible for the murder of his son and not the convicted ex-DIG Gunawardena.
