Expense Tracker 2.0, a comprehensive personal finance management application by hSenid Outsourcing won the silver award in the General Applications category, at the recently concluded NBQSA 2015 (National Best Quality ICT Awards Sri Lanka).

The app also won an NBQSA Award in 2013 (when it was first launched), was a winner at the mBillionth Awards 2014 and is nominated for the APICTA Awards coming up later this year.

“We are delighted to have won this award at this year’s NBQSA. We consider Expense Tracker 2.0 to be the best personal finance App for Apple iOS & Android smart devices and smart wearables (Apple Watch etc.). It helps you effectively track your expenses and always keeps an eye on your financial health status. It also provides customized advise on how to up-size your savings every month,” said Sachi Wickramage, Head of hSenid Outsourcing. “This recognition is yet another testament to its effectiveness and ease of use.”

Expense Tracker 2.0 works across Apple iOS (iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch), both Android tablets and phones as well as Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablets. With features including an inbuilt financial assistant for increased saving, the ability to schedule multiple monthly payments, a bird’s eye view of your projected savings and finances, interactive monthly reports with the option to email as PDF or HTML and security via a passcode and touch ID (finger print scanner), the app provides hassle free, effective budget planning. The app also offers users customization options with high contrast urban colour themes and avatars, widgets to create shortcuts and an inbuilt calculator with copy and paste features for added convenience.

“Three recognitions for this one app is a testament of how good this is,” said Dinesh Saparamadu, Chairman of hSenid Group. “This is a must-have for any business and non-business individuals to ensure better tracking and management of their finances at all times.”

Organized by the Chartered Institute for IT (BCS), the NBQSA is an annual organization that works to provide recognition to outstanding achievements in ICT of individuals and organizations in Sri Lanka, to create an opportunity for global exposure for local ICT products and to assist Sri Lankan tech developments to compete in the international market. This year marked the 17th awards ceremony with awards presented in 19 categories.
