Elections commissioner Mahinda Deshapriya said the decision to hold the presidential election on January 8 would not be changed because of the inclement weather condition experienced in the country.

“No candidate, their representative or lawyers had complained or requested in this regard to the department,” he said.

mahinda believe in numerology. 8 is his lucky number.. look at the previous election dates. all fall in number 8. jan 8 2015 is even better.. front number is 8 and total number is 8 as well.. they will never change the date.
