MR should have put forward his manifesto before any other candidate since he is the one who called the election.

Excellent! Things are being done in time, correctly and systematically and hope it will be an indication of the way the new government will be conducted.

WORDS, WORDS...while the actions thus far demonstrate only Betrayal, Vengeance, and a Devious Plot to get certain others back into the political leadership....IS THIS WHAT THE PEOPLE ARE BEING HOODWINKED INTO?

There is nothing about abolishing executive presidency but curtailing powers which are also not specific.

What a real professional method it only depicts the true, genuine, sincere, loyal future head of state. I have never seen this practise before in all the Presidential Elections. We must all gettogether and applaud a gentleman who sacrificed all his perks, position, incentive for the sake of the people of Sri Lanka. Public if you are educated and mature you would eventually support a real future head of state. I am speechless of the way the manifesto has been presented and am proud NOW to be a Sri Lankan as we enter a golden era with a new governance and professional cabinet. Right along I have been following MS on his dialogs, speeches, rally conduct, and his method what is overwhelming is he has pruned down the parliament to 30 this is what was needed. God Bless Hon Maithripala Sirisena May Allah shower you his blessings for a prosperous future we are with you

WOW!! The creation of this Utopia is simply too good to be true....wonder who wrote it for him. Good luck to him and all the believers that evil can be wiped out from the world through a well-written document that is a direct appeal to all those idealists who cling to dreams....just like the Libyans, only to lose it all!!Good Laundry List especially meant for the On-the-Fencers!!
