Former UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake had withdrawn some of the oral questions he had submitted to Parliament after his defection, it was reported yesterday.
This was notified by Deputy Speaker Chandima Weerakkodi during the oral question time.
Mr. Weerakkodi announced that Mr. Attanayake had withdrawn a question on some prominent post in the Department of Archeology. The question was to be asked from National Heritage Minister Jagath Balasuriya.(Yohan Perera and Kelum Bandara)
