A top official in Parliament is to lodge a complaint with Speaker Karu Jayasuriya against a group of MPs and some employees in the House who had allegedly held a party in the garage of the Parliamentary complex, inside sources said yesterday. It was reported that they had been consuming liquor.(YP & AS)

Jack Robbing Saturday, 09 December 2017 07:17 PM
This is a illegal party within Government Premises, it has nothing to do with religion.

Can't expect more than this from this lot.

And they really consumed alcohol in the garage? Shocking! This is the end of the millennium old culture! If this top official has no other problems then he is obsolete.

The way the Parliament's un-educated "O" Level failed members behaving inside the Assembly, no one will wonder if they bring call-girls to the complex and sell them

This is the result of being elected uneducated and undisciplined individuals to the Parliament. Sometime back some parliamentarians used the Parliament not only for dine and wine but also as their bedroom. What is the authority doing? It's a disgrace for entire Sri Lankans and the country.

During the last regime Dilan and others of the UPFA spent the night in the house of the Parliament, having a gala time with liquor etc. Dilan is a Minister brought in thru the back door. Today the caliber of persons elected as MPs are not at all suitable. The Country is being dragged down the drain.

Why the fuss; they were partying to celebrate the spoon which serves them; in time to come it will become a scenario of "serves them right".

Is parliament such a sacred place? Is there a rule that liquor can't be consumed in the premises of parliament?

What for making all these comments. These idiots cannot be taught the good and the bad. They only know the street language
