The body of a man was found hanging in a lavatory near the number one platform of the Fort Railway Station this evening, a senior Railway official said.
He said the victim had allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a shoelace. It was reported that the victim was 50-years-old.

This is not a surprise, the toilets at the railway station was forever smelly and disgusting, the surprise is why it took so long for a person to hang himself there. The conditions of the public toilets are so bad, you cant blame only the authorities, even most of the people who use them dont care about the next person , they dnt even take time to flush after use , or to lift the toilet seat before pissing, can you actually use the toilets in the train, in the train if you have to use the toilet, and when you think of going there , it gives you a scare, because you have to use it but no option but to use the bad state toilets .

Every single detainee at any English/Welsh Police station had to hand over their shoe/boot laces to the custodial officers precisely for the same reason-risk of hanging. So,it cannot be that difficult. I did wonder. I am sorry for the man who hung himself
