The wife of an Army Lieutenant Colonel was injured after she was shot by unidentified men at Isurupura, Malabe in Athurugiriya last night.
Police said the 45-year-old victim was shot at last night around 10.15 and was admitted to the National Hospital with gunshot injuries.
No arrests have been made so far in connection with the shooting and the Athurugiriya Police are investigating.
