The new government’s parliament decided today to nominate Matara district MP Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane as the Speaker of the new Parliament, Kegalle district MP Ranjith Siyambalapitiya as the Deputy Speaker and Jaffna district MP Angajan Ramanathan as the Deputy Chairman of Committees.
