Leader of the UNP, Ranil Wickremesinghe was sworn in as the Prime Minister by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa a short while ago.

Wickremesinghe took oaths at the President's official House and then proceeded to the Walukarama Temple to seek blessings. (JH)

Ranil does not have the support of the people of the entire country. Of course he has only the support of the Rajapakse clan. We know what haopened during his tenure as PM in the so -called good governance time. He will be a Yes man of Gota. Very soon we will have a movement calling for Ranil Go Gama. What is too late? Sajith gave the Prez. ample time to consider his request. Sajith commands the respect of the whole country. He should be the new PM. Ranil should retire from politics.
