Will the Police at least this time take severe action against these useless politicians and their double headed sons? We all know the performance of Rambukwelas children? Trying to open an aircraft door, crashing the state owned car in Col 07 etc.

This is Srilanka . No law and order . Police will arrest if a poor man steals a coconut . Rich and affluent have a different legal system

Was it a plane or a car?

Simply count the number of accidents being reported daily. There is something not being implemented properly. See why crimes and accidents are almost none in Singapore. Way to go.

Drunk, speeding, fortunate that lives weren't lost, he needs to be jailed, just because they are or were affiliates with government doesn't mean they can break rules or wait they mostly do nvm

This is our potical culture. Where leaders appointed by the people to safeguard tgeir interests violate that trust with impunity. Sri Lanka WAKE UP. WE NEED NEW POLITICAL CULTURE ESTABLISHED.

Class Discrimination has overtaken all other discrimination s in Sri Lanka . Detention orders issued promptly lasting 90 days for protesting against government decisions but only invitations for a statement issued for destroying millions of other people's property, because the scum is a son of a rich dood.

These are once off incidents. People commit so many infringements and the police always turns a blind eye in their newly built outposts near major junctions. All single and double lines in Colombo are non existent, bikes and three wheeler are always on pavements, So called VIP vehicles don't adhere to any of the road rules. The police is to blame for creating this culture when we have enough laws already enacted.

In Sri Lanka, if a vehicle crashes into a parked car where someone is injured, the driver of parked car could get arrested even if he/she has nothing to do with the accident. But in the above story, the driver is was only summoned. Sri Lanka has not changed and will not change, hence it will always be a poor country that will continue to beg money from other countries.

It is high time, we plan our logistics well in time and FUND it properly, than find excuses!!!??? Lamenting and no positive action!! Get the ACT RIGHT, then we won't have this syndrome!! This constriction of supplies should inevitably apply to food too, especially when Sri Lankans are fond of calling, Tamil Nadu State as, "Toilet Nadu", for lack of Sanitary facilities in that state and get food -Rice, Lentils etc.!!! This lack of Toilet facilities surely must sensibly apply to Orissa (Odisha)!! How does one know, it isn’t laced with material to inhibit or damage the growth of Intelligence!!! That may be the reason for our "BANKRUPTCY" TOO

Nepotism of a high order. Politicians are the BANE of Sri Lankan society and is this now extending to the Police ?? What a disastrous state of affairs on top of an economic crisis !!

If this happened to be the son Appuhamy he will be detained and produced before the Magistrate. There is a different traffic law for the Politicians and their brats.

What is there to probe. People with murder get away, so this will go under the carpet.
