Deshapriya Ratnayake, the principal of Sri Sumangala Vidyalaya, Kandy was elected president of the Sri Lanka Schools Athletic Association (SLSAA) unco ntested for the 2026–2027 term.
The election to appoint the new office bearers was held recently at the Ministry of Education Auditorium in Isurupaya, where all positions, including that of the president, were unopposed, marking a notable development in the association’s administrative process.
