A century by Pulindu Perera and half tons by Ravindu Rashantha and Asitha Wanninayake laid the foundation for Sri Lanka Emerging XI resuming from their overnight score of 37 for 0 to amass a score of 430 for 4 in reply to the 231 made by West Indies Emerging X1 on day two of the second unofficial Test match played at Sooriyawewa.
Pulindu cracked 145 in 188 balls inclusive of 14 boundaries and a six and shared two valuable partnerships of an opening wicket stand of 168 runs with Ravindu who made 60 and 94 runs for the second wicket with Asitha who also chipped in with a 60.
Anjala Bandara who made twin hundreds in the drawn first four-day game was unbeaten on 48.
