Mar. 4 (Daily Mirror) - Half tons by Janith Liyanage, Nishan Madushka and Sandun Weerakkody helped Jaffna to record a comfortable four wicket win over Colombo in a high scoring match of the National Super League limited over tournament encounter played at R. Premadasa Stadium. The trio’s knocks helped Jaffna chasing 289 runs for victory to reach the target in the 49th over.
Dambulla recorded a three wicket win over Kandy in another match of the same tournament played at the Sooriyawewa Stadium. Dambulla after bowling out Kandy for 201 runs raced to the target with ease in the 43rd over.
