Feb. 29 (Daily Mirror) - Havelock SC cruised to a resounding 55-5 victory over Navy SC in their Clifford Cup Knock-Out Rugby Tournament second quarter-final match played Havelock Park.
The Havies dominated the game from the kick-off and went on score as many as nine tries out of which five of them were converted after having led 29-5 at half time. The Sailors managed to score only a solitary try in the first half.
Dinupa Senavirathne, Oliver Buckle, Azmeer Fajudeen, Jayathu Rajarathna, Udara Jayapaia, Mohomed Rifan, Ganindu Lakshan, Senal Deelaka and Raveen Fernando scored a try each for the winners.
Sandesh Jayawickrema was successful with four conversions while Janith Chandimal converted the last try. Stephan Gregory scored the solitary try for Navy SC.
