Zumri to skipper Isipathana

Shakib Zumri has been appointed as the captain of Isipathana College rugby team this year. 

He is a fourth year Coloursman who began his college rugby at under 10 and was the captain of the Under 18 team last year. Nimantha Sandeepa and Abdul Azeez will be his two deputies.

Zumri also represented the Sri Lanka Under 18 Sevens team at the Asia Emirates championship held in Malaysia. He is the brother of former Isipathana vice captain, current Kandy SC and Sri Lanka player Shaahid Zumri Isipathana will be coached by veteran Sanath Martis and the Backs coach will be Chanaka Chandimal.
