Unstoppable Ladies row to glory

Ladies College won the annual rowing encounter against arch rivals Musaeus College for the 13th time on the waters of the Colombo Rowing Club last Saturday thereby also winning the Marie Musaeus Higgins Trophy.
It marked the 20th occasion that the two schools met in what has come to be a battle for prestige among the two elite schools.
Ladies College was led by Jessica Sivapragasam and Sanindi de Silva was her deputy skipper.
Ladies College won six of the 11 events including the A Four Boat Race. The young Ladies also won the A Pair, A Double Scull, Under-15 Fours, Old Girls Fours, C Fours and B Fours.
Musaeus College won the A and B Sculls, A and B Pairs and B Double Scull.
