Under 19 Cricket Vishwa, Tharindu steer St. Joseph Vaz to victory

Vishwa Rajapakse and Tharindu Eshan shared 14 wickets between them to help St. Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa record an easy 81 runs win over Dharmasoka MV Ambalangoda in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter concluded at Ambalangoda yesterday.

The other matches played ended in first inning wins for St. Sebastian’s, St. Benedict’s and Dharmapala MV.

Meanwhile Maliyadeva Kurunegala, Lumbini MV and Prince of Wales dominated proceedings on day one against S. Thomas’, Holy Cross Kalutara and St. Anne’s Kurunegala.
