Under 19 Cricket Maris Stella dominate day one proceedings

Levin Fernando shone as Maris Stella Negombo dominated proceedings against Royal at the end of the first days play in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Reid Avenue.
Maris Stella after bowling out Royal for 171 helped by Levin’s unbeaten knock of 76 ended the day on 132 for 4.
Isipathana have taken a first inning lead against Moratu MV at Moratuwa while exchanges were even in the match between Thurstan and Maliyadeva played at Kurunegala. The matches will be continued today.
