Under 19 Cricket Mahinda record big win against Dharmapala MV

Mahinda College Galle recorded a big win by an innings and 152 runs over Dharmapala MV Pannipitiya in the Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Galle.  
Deneth Kaushalya along with Hareen Achintha and Sanuka Dangamuwa cracked half tons to help Mahinda taking first lease of the wicket to make a formidable score of 335 for 6 declared.  
Later Mahinda’s bowling trio Kaveen Rukshan who ended with a match bag of eight wickets, Sadew Nethmina and Dinura Kalupahana combined to bundle out the Palians for low scores of 96 and 114 runs.  
A century by Janindu Nandasena and a match bag of ten wickets by Mevan Dissanayake paved the way for St. Benedict’s to record an innings and 114 run win over St. Anne’s Kurunegala at Kotahena.  


Ravishan Nethsara slammed a quick fire 200 in only 129 balls that included 26 boundaries and ten sixes helped P. de S. Kularatne MV Ambalangoda to record a comfortable innings and 130 runs win over Kingswood in the match played at Ambalangoda.  
St. John’s Panadura along with Rahula College Matara, Bandaranayake Central Veyangoda and Henegama Central too recorded outright wins against Anuradhapura Central, Sri Jayawardenapura MV Kotte, Carey College and Dudley Senanayake Central Tholangamuwa.
