Under-19 Cricket Lahiru, Rishma guides St. Joseph’s to innings win

Right arm spinner Lahiru Amarasekera returned his best match figures of nine wickets and ended with a match bag of 12/95, while Rishma Amarasinghe cracked an unbeaten 120 to help St. Joseph’s coast to a convincing innings and 79 runs win over Maliyadeva Kurunegala in the Under-19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Darley Road. Nalanda and St. Joseph Vaz Wennappuwa recorded first-inning wins against S. Thomas’ and Zahira in two other matches played at Mt. Lavinia and Katunayake, respectively.
