Under 13 Cricket St Sylvester’s boy takes 8/18

An impressive grab of 8 for 18 by right arm spinner Dinuja Bandara helped St Sylvester’s College to record an outright win by an innings and 12 runs over Royal College, Polonnaruwa in their Under 13 inter-school cricket tournament encounter at Polonnaruwa.

A match bag of 9 for 18 by Helaja Dinapathi paved the way for Wadduwa Central to pull off an innings and 51 runs win against Carey College in another match played at Wadduwa.

St John’s Panadura along with St Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa, Nalanda College, Mahinda College and Dharmaraja College prevailed with first innings wins.
