Unbeaten Teams HNB “B” and Dialog Axiata in MCA “F” division final

Unbeaten, Hatton National Bank “B” (HNB), led by veteran, Damitha Hunukumbura will go out as the firm favourites to win the 6th Fairfirst Insurance Ltd., sponsored “Firstfirst Insurance’ Trophy - MCA ‘F’ Division 25 Over League tournament when they take on the unbeaten Dialog Axiata led by Damith Weerasinghe, on Saturday April 20 at the MCA Grounds, commencing 9.45 am.   

HNB “B” – Unbeaten Path to the Final : 
(A) League Stage / played in Group “D”: beat Union Bank , Hilton Colombo Residencies , EB Creasey, Atire, Emerchemie NB and Empire Tea.  
(B) Knock out Stage : beat Camera LK in the Pre quarter Finals; Seylan Bank in the quarter Finals and Ansell Lanka in the Semi Finals.  

HNB “B” – Top performers with the bat and the ball are Dinesh Panditharatne with 438 runs in nine innings and Achintha S. Akalanka with the ball to claim 17 wickets in seven matches. 

 
Dialog Axiata unbeaten path to the Final: 
(A) League Stage / Played in Group “A”: Beat Softlogic Life, Asiri Hospitals, Ansell Lanka, IPD Colombo, Std. Chartered Bank and CW Mackie.  
(B) Knock out stage : beat Commercial Bank “B” on the DLS Method in the Pre Quarter Finals, MAS Active in the Quarter finals and Maliban Biscuits “B” in the Semi Finals Dialog Axiata top performers with the bat and ball are Dilan Harshana Bandara with 462 runs in nine innings in batting and in bowling Chandula Bandara Premanath with 12 wickets in nine matches.
