Canada were beaten by the UAE with two balls left after setting their rivals a 151 target in the group stage match of the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup in Delhi, India yesterday.
From a disastrous 66/4, the UAE team, thanks to an 84-run stand between opener Aryansh Sharma who made an unbeaten 74 and Sohaib Khan who made 51, reached the target in 19.4 overs.
Sharma and Khan plundered 10 fours and seven sixes during their alliance.
