Triple winner at Public Services Games

Rasika Dushantha Wijesena of the Road Development Department, North Western Province, won the 100m race in 11.40 seconds, the 200m race in 23.30 seconds and the long jump with a distance of 6.44 metres securing first place in all three events at the 39th Public Services Games worked off on November 20 and 21 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium in Diyagama, Homagama. Wijesena won in the 40–44 age group and was also awarded the title of Best Athlete (male) in the same age group
