Trinity U20 football champs at Central Province

Trinity College won the Central Province Under-20 Football Tournament when they beat Ajmeer College 3/0 in the final which was played in Pallekele recently.

Trinity’s goals were scored by Viduneth Dhammage (2) and Saihaan Ibrahim. Trinity beat Al Azhar 1/0, Matale Zahira 3/0, Al Minaj 3/0 on their way to the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, Trinity beat Kingswood 1/0 and Ajmeer beat Don Bosco 4/1 on penalties after
the game ended in a 1/1 draw after full time.

Kingswood beat Don Bosco in the third place encounter 2/0. 

Trinity, Ajmeer and Kingswood qualified for the Under-20 All Island Tournament 2025 which will take place later this year.
