State Services Inter-Association Netball Champs

The State Services Team clinched the 2024 Inter-Association Netball Championship, conducted by the Netball Federation of Sri Lanka (NFSL) and worked-off at the Sports Ministry Torrington Grounds in Colombo.  
27 teams affiliated with the NFSL participated in this tournament as the State Services Team defeated the Mercantile Team 49-32 in the final encounter.  
Earlier in the semi-finals Mercantile defeated Kandy District 25-12 and the State Services had the better of the Youth Services Team 25-13.   
Meanwhile, Purnima Lakmali of State Services was selected as the Netball Queen, Chathurangi Jayasuriya was named Best Goal Keeper, Dushani Bandara was the Best Centre Court Player and Dewna Randini won the Best Shooter Award.
