Star studded Hayleys in T20 final

Hayleys Group ‘A’ cruised through to the final of the 10th Singer-MCA Super League T20 by recording a comfortable six wicket win over Maliban Biscuits ‘A’ in the first semifinal at the Bloomfield Club ground Reid Avenue yesterday.

Maliban taking first lease of the wicket underwent some anxious moments and struggled to make 122 in 19.4 overs as Ramesh Mendis captured 3 for 14. Hayleys replied with 128 for 4.

The second semifinal between Fairfirst Insurance and CDB ‘A’ is scheduled to be played at the MCA ground today.
