Sri Lanka to host Junior International Badminton Series in Gampaha

Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) has finalised preparations to host the Sri Lanka Junior International Series 2025 from August 5 to 8 at the New Saniro Sports Complex in Naiwala, Gampaha.

This prestigious four-day international tournament is set to attract a large number of young and aspiring shuttlers from around the globe. 

Sanctioned by the Badminton World Federation (BWF) and Badminton Asia (BA), the tournament features competitions in age groups Under-19, Under-17, Under-15, and Under-13. Players will compete in Boys’ and Girls’ Singles, as well as Boys’, Girls’, and Mixed Doubles categories. 

The tournament will commence on August 5 with preliminary rounds played across the eight courts of the New Saniro Sports Complex. The competition will progress through quarter-finals and semi-finals, culminating in the finals and award ceremony on August 8.
