Sri Lanka Golf Ranking Tournament: Pushpika fires another 68 to stay on top

The Sri Lanka Golf (SLG) Ranking Tournament is in full swing at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, with intense competition unfolding over the first two days. As players battle for supremacy, the leaderboard is beginning to take shape, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion in the coming rounds.
Leading the lot is experienced Chalitha Pushpika, who has delivered a top class performance with a combined score of 136 over two rounds (68-68). His consistency on the course has placed him in a commanding position heading into day three. 
Jacob Norton, trailing by seven strokes is at 143 (68-75), showing fighting qualities and never give up despite a tougher second round. 
Reshan Algama follows in third with 144 (74-70), demonstrating a steady improvement in his game during day two. With his overseas exposure Reshan is tipped to move forward and give a good run for the experienced Chalitha Pushpika.
Rounding off the top five are R.M.S. Rupasinghe (145, 73-72) and Kumar Dhanushan (147, 75-72), both maintaining a competitive edge.
With the cut-off set, top 15 players will advance into day three and four. Among those making the cut are Uchitha Ranasinghe (147), Chanaka Perera (151), Vinoth Kumar (153), and P. D. S. U. Kumara (156), all of whom will be looking to gain ground in the remaining rounds. The competition remains fierce as these players aim to climb the leaderboard and challenge the top contenders.
The Girls’ segment has also seen strong performances, with N.G.N.S.S. Sumanarathna leading at 194.
