Saunders, New Star, Serendib, Pelicans, Solid and Police SC in Super Eight

The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) Competition Committee has confirmed that Saunders SC, New Star SC Panadura and Serendib SC Mawanella from Group ‘A’ along with Pelicans SC Kurunegala, Solid SC Anuradhapura and Police SC from Group ‘B’ have all qualified for the Super Eight Round of the FFSL Champions League.

According to the competition committee, the upcoming fixtures scheduled from January 23 to 25, will decide the remaining two Super Eight spots—one from each group. The teams finishing fourth in Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ will secure qualification for the Super Eight.

Current Standings
Group ‘A’: Saunders SC leads the table with 13 points remaining unbeaten
Group ‘B’: Pelicans SC tops the group with 11 points also unbeaten.
The FFSL has confirmed that the Super Eight matches will commence on 
January 30.
