SSC Open Tennis Championship: Annaya and Revan emerge champions

Annaya Norbert and Revan Amarasinghe emerged Under 14 Girl’s and Under 12 Boy’s singles champions of the CL Synergy SSC Open Tennis Champinship in the finals played at the SSC tennis courts yesterday.

Annaya went through some anxious moment before overcoming Sahana Damsiluni by two sets to one while Revan had an easy passage when he got the better of Nuren Wevita by two sets to nil.

Girl’s Under 14 – Annaya Norbert beat Sahansa Damsiluni 2-1 (7/5, 3/6, 14/12)
Boy’s Under 12 – Revan Amarasinghe beat Nuren Wevita 2-0 (6/0, 6/0)
