SL Rugby conducts training and education programmes in Northern Province

Training session held at the Jaffna University

Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) kicked off the year 2024 with training programmes of World Rugby being conducted in the Northern Province recently.

Training and education programmes were conducted at the Jaffna and Vavuniya Universities, where both sessions attracted 30 participants each.

The education sessions were conducted by World Rugby trainer Viper Gunaratne (jnr) (Coaching), educator Ananda Kasthuriarachi (Strength and Conditioning), Anil Jayasinghe (Match Officials), Coordinator Shamrath Fernando, Director Development SLR, Roshan De Silva, Admin SLR, and Thanuja Weerakkody, T&E Manager.
