This junior tournament brings together top young golfers from across Asia, providing them with a world-class platform to test their skills. The Black Mountain Asian Junior Masters is renowned for its highly competitive field and is played on the stunning Black Mountain Golf Club course, widely regarded as one of the most picture-perfect golf courses in Asia.
Both Reshan and Jacob qualified for this tournament through the selection trials conducted at the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), facilitated by Sri Lanka Golf.
Both players will be eager to make their mark on this stage. A victory at the Black Mountain Junior Masters will enable Norton to secure a place in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), while for Reshan, it presents an opportunity to improve his current WAGR standing.
Additionally, the recent six-day stint in the UAE, which Algama successfully completed and was fully funded by the World Amateur Association, should be of immense help to him. These lads’ participation highlights Sri Lanka’s growing presence in international junior golf which is well supported by Sri Lanka Golf.
