Reed House Royal inter-house boxing champions

Reed House emerged champions at the 95th Royal College inter-house boxing meet held at Royal MAS Arena.
After two days of intense competition, Reed House carried away the Obeyesekera Challenge Shield awarded to the champion team after securing six gold and six silver medals.
The Dian Gomes Challenge Cup awarded to the runner-up team went to Marsh House who also won six gold medals but less number of silver medals – three.
Harward House were placed fourth with five gold and three silver medals, Hartley House fourth with four gold medals and three silver while Boake House claimed three gold and five silver medals.
Marsh House boxers swept the special awards.
The P.R. Malavi Challenge Cup to the Youth Best Boxer was awarded to the captain of the Royal College team Ahsan Ahmedh.
The Eddie Gray Challenge Cup to the Junior Best Boxer was awarded to Royal College vice-captain Mohamed Asadullah.
The Hishaam Ousman Memorial Challenge Cup for the School Boy Best Boxer was awarded to Lukman Hakeem.
 A former Royal boxer Dai Liyanage was the chief guest.
