Maris Stella College, Negombo taking first lease of the wicket helped by a top score of 78 by Kavith de Silva made a total of 270 against St Aloysius College Galle who ended the first day on 54 for 2 in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Karandeniya.

Exchanges were even in the match between Ananda Sastralaya Matugama and Wadduwa Central while St Mary’s Chilaw was on top against St Peter’s College, Negombo at Chilaw. The matches will be continued today.
