Major Club Cricket Skipper Pushpakumara spins BRC to stunning win

A match bag of 13 for 98 by skipper and left arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara paved the way for BRC to record a stunning innings and 48 runs win over SSC in the Major Club three-day cricket tournament match played at the BRC ground. This was BRC’s first outright win and SSC’s second outright defeat.

There were two other outright wins recorded by Colts CC against Badureliya SC and Tamil Union against Kandy Customs CC while the other matches ended in first inning wins for CCC, NCC, Bloomfield and Ragama CC.
