Reshan Algama carded a one-over-par 73 in the final round

Sri Lanka’s young golfing sensation Reshan Algama continued to strengthen his international credentials with a solid Top 10 finish at the MEDCO Pondok Indah International Amateur Golf Championship 2025 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Competing against amateurs under 30 years of age with 78 elite amateurs from Asia and the USA, the 17-year-old left-handed star delivered another composed performance on the demanding Pondok Indah Golf Course. 

Reshan carded a one-over-par 73 in the final round, bringing his three-day total to 219 (+3) and securing a share of 10th place.

Now studying and playing golf in USA, Haroon Aslam capped off his campaign with a brilliant one-over-par 73 on the final day, finishing 21st with a total score of 227. He had a superb final day ending on a score of 71 which was equal to the best on the final day.

Jacob Norton, despite a tough final round of 11-over-par, secured tied on 50th place with 240.

At the top, Indonesia’s Randy Bintang claimed victory after a thrilling playoff against compatriot William Justin marking a dominant home performance. 

The scores were tied on 207 a piece before the playoff round was played to determine the winner.
