Kingswood College emerged champions at the All-Island School Games Under-20 Hockey Tournament when they beat S. Thomas’ College, Matale 3-2 in the final played at Bambalapitiya recently.  
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education. At half time the scores were level 1-1.  
M. R. S. D. Thushara, H. M. O. V. Dissanayake and J. Jayatissa scored a goal each for the winners while D. Madushanka and T. Wijesooriya scored a goal each for the Thomians.  
Meanwhile, Swarnamali Girls’ College beat Holy Family Convent, Wennappuwa 2-1 in the Girls’ Under-20 final, played at the same venue.
