Jevahn, Kaya and Reshan to represent Sri Lanka at Faldo Junior

The 29th Faldo Junior Tour Europe Grand Final, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo, will take place from 18 to 20 November at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club in UAE.  

There will be over 90 junior golfers at this three day event and no cut off after day 2. Top young golfers from across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas will tee off at this event.

For Sri Lanka, three of its brightest junior golfers from the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC), Jevahn Sathasivam, Reshan Algama (wild card) and Kaya Daluwatte will represent Sri Lanka. Both Jevahn and Kaya won the Faldo series which took place in Sri Lanka during 2024 becoming the Boys and Girls champions respectively while Reshan was the runner up at this event.

Jevahn Sathasivam, has impressed with 3 wins and many top-10 finishes in just 15 tournaments. His natural power and competitive spirit continue to push him toward elite performance on the junior circuit. He will use his exposure recently gained from the Asian Youth Games (AYG) in Bahrain as the conditionS in UAE too will be similar.

Reshan Algama will be the second Boy to tee off at this tournament from Sri Lanka. He had shown remarkable form ending in the top 10 both at the AYG 2025 in Bahrain and a week later in Thailand Junior Golf Tournament.

Kaya Daluwatte, the nation’s leading female amateur, has recorded 25 top-10 finishes and 9 victories from 34 tournaments. Her graceful style and mental toughness and never under pressure have earned her recognition as one of Sri Lanka’s most accomplished young golfers. Her recently performance at the AYG in Bahrain where she claimed the Bronze Medal, which was the first medal at the AYG series. She also won the Thailand tournament a week later show8ng her magnificent form.
