Inaugural SLUCB T20 Cricket League from March 20

The inaugural Sri Lanka United Cricket Blast (SLUCB) T20 Cricket League will be held from March 20-30 in Colombo.

This event, conducted by RAS Entertainment, is aimed at providing a platform for identified Tamil Sri Lankan cricketers to showcase their talent at both national and international levels.

Six franchise teams, namely Eastern Eagles, Central Hurricanes, Northern Vipers, Western Warriors, Southern Strikers, and Uva Lions, will participate in this tournament with matches to be played at the SSC Grounds, NCC Grounds, and P. Sara Oval in Colombo.

This T20 Cricket League is designed to bring together the best cricketing talent from the Tamil community across Sri Lanka. The primary goal of this tournament is to foster the development of young and skilled cricketers, creating a pathway for them to represent the country on the global stage.

The tournament will attract talented cricketers from various regions, giving them an opportunity to compete at a higher level and gain exposure to national and international scouts.

Each franchise team will include nine Sri Lankan Tamil players, two international Tamil players, two Sri Lankan legend players, and five first-class players, including local national players.
The champions will receive US $20,000, runners-up will receive US $10,000, and special cash awards will be presented to the man of the series, man of the match, best batsman, best bowler, and best catch.
