Half tons from Kaushalya Saranga and Shanuka Denuwan paved the way for Sri Sumangala Central Hikkaduwa to outclass Henegama Central by 133 runs in the much awaited final of the Under 19 Division Two Tier  B limited overs tournament played at the MCA ground yesterday.

The foundation was laid by the duo with Kaushalya making a top score of 71 that included seven boundaries and three sixes as he shared in a partnership of 114 runs for the second wicket with Sanjana Nethupul that enabled Sri Sumangala to post a match winning total of 293 for 9.

Henegama Central in their turn was never in the run chase as they lost their top five wickets with the score on 71 in the 18th over. They never recovered as they succumbed to the bowling trio of Sanjana Nethupul, Shanuka Denuwan and Chamudu Dhananjaya who together accounted for nine wickets as Henegama Central was bowled out for 160.
