Heshan Piyatissa wins at Victorian Open Sqaush C’ships

16-year-old Heshan Piyatissa, the son of former national squash player Navin Piyatissa, won the Victorian Open Squash Championships 2023 (Division 3) in Australia recently.  He beat Robert Peake 11-08, 11-05, 14-12 in the final. Alongside Heshan in the photo is Rex Hedrick, squash player who represented Australia and reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 48 in September 2018, and Heshan’s father Navin Piyatissa.
