Harshitha steers Dambulla Women to easy win

Skipper Harshitha Samarawickrama shone with an unbeaten 52-ball 58 inclusive of seven boundaries to help Dambulla coast to an easy six-wicket win over Galle in the inaugural SLC Women’s National Super League (NSL) T20 Tournament encounter played at the Colts Grounds yesterday.


Dambulla, who clinched the Women’s NSL limited over title a few days ago are one of the contenders for the T20 title.
Dambulla after restricting Galle for 108 reached the target in the 19th over with Harshitha leading the run chase.  


Meanwhile, in another match played at the same venue, Kandy recorded a four-wicket win over Colombo.
