HNB retains Mercantile netball title

The reigning champions Hatton National Bank (HNB) retained the ‘A’ Division Championship at the Mercantile League Netball Tournament 2025 held at the New Senior airport in Indoor Stadium in Minuwangoda.

The tournament was conducted by the Mercantile Netball Association with the participation of several mercantile sector netball teams.

HNB defeated Seylan Bank ‘A’ Team in the final with both teams studded with several national and former national players.

Sri Lanka team captain Dulangi Wannithilaka of HNB was selected as the Best Player of the Tournament and Mercantile Netball Queen.
