Foreign referee to blow

Asia Rugby’s elite panel referee, Aymen Jrill of Saudi Arabia will officiate the CR versus Havelocks and Kandy SC versus CH matches in the Super Round Cup encounters this weekend.

The appointment has been made in collaboration with Asia Rugby, underlining the importance attached to the decisive phase of the domestic league. 

According to Sri Lanka Rugby with the Super Round set to determine the ultimate contenders for the league title, the presence of an internationally accredited referee brings added credibility and assurance to the competition. 

Jrill, a highly respected official within the Asia Rugby circuit, is known for his firm control, consistency at the breakdown and clear communication with players.

The two Plate encounters will be officiated by local referees.
