Fairfirst Insurance record second win

Fairfirst Insurance coasted to their second win of the 10th Singer - MCA Super League T20 cricket tournament when they defeated BBK Partnership by 61 runs in the match played in the evening session at the MCA ground yesterday.

Their win came on the back of a half century made by Gaviru Senhas and an allround performance by Thanuka Dabare. Gaviru’s knock of 61 supported by Thanuka saw Fairfirst Insurance taking first lease of the wicket making 158 and a four wicket haul by Thanuka helped them bowl out BBK Partnership for 97.

Haleys Group ‘A’ recorded a close eight run win over David Peiris to record their first win of the tournament in the match which was played in the morning session at the same venue.
