Easy win for Zahira

Zahira College completed a comfortable 23-point (three tries, one conversion, two penalties) to 3-point (one penalty) win over Vidyartha College in their Dialog Schools Rugby League U-19 encounter, which was worked off at the Bogambara Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

At the short break, the winners led 13-3.

For Zahira, tries were scored by Ahamed Saad, Kamil Hashim, and M.N. Mohamed, with Saad putting over two penalties and a conversion as well. Vidyartha’s solitary penalty was put over by Rusith Chamodya.
