Dharmaraja thrash Nalanda after 63 years

Dharmaraja College pulled off a comfortable eight-wicket win over Nalanda College in their Under-19 Inter-Schools cricket encounter played at Campbell Place yesterday. 

The win for the Rajans against the Nalandians was achieved after 63 years. Their last win was under the leadership of Gotabaya Ratnayake way back in 1963. 

The match, which was played for the Bandula Warnapura Trophy saw the Rajans laying their hands for the first time since the trophy was introduced in the year 2001.
