Devapathiraja MMV crush Nalanda to enter final

Devapathiraja MMV, Rathgama created history when they crushed Nalanda by nine wickets in the semi-final  of the Under-17 Division One cricket tournament at the Army ground in Kosgama.

The hero of their win was Arosha Sithumina who smashed a quickfire unbeaten 58 in 54 balls inclusive of seven boundaries and a six. Arosha along with Oshen Kalhara gave the side a flying start of 56 runs in pursuit of a revised target of 99 in 39 overs and was associated in an unbroken 45-run stand for the second wicket with Sandaru Malshan for them to race to the target with ease in the 22nd over.
